The name Pinolith comes from the pinecone-like patterns formed when the stone formed.  Origionally, only found in Austria, now Pinolith is also mined in Canada.  Pinolith is said to help with balance and to stabilize energy and emotions.  It is also said to enhance concentration and decision making.
